Topher - Note that we're talking about S1 Topher here, as I didn't finish watching S2, which is a trend you will see repeating in my relationships with Whedon shows.

1) I do like him, as much as it's possible to like anyone in Dollhouse. You could even say he's my favourite. I think I like his... utter lack of morals? Or just the fact that he, unlike the other characters, is totally easy to understand. There's no great mystery about him.
2) He's the chessmaster of a lot of plots and the pawn of many more. *lyrical*
3) I can't relate to him either. I don't generally relate to excessively intellectual and geeky characters. He's more intriguing than emotionally gripping, I think, except maybe in the birthday episode.
4) I know nothing about Dollhouse fandom except that Clair is accepted as asexual, which I approve of...
5) ... although I always thought Topher was asexual. Or aromantic anyway. Platonically, the Adelle-Boyd-Topher triumvirate astounds me.
6) I wouldn't change anything about him, although I'd expand on his relationship with Ivy.
7) Meh. We'd meet, he'd be distracted and disinterested, I'd be unduly paranoid of him stealing my memories. It'd be an unpleasant and brief date.
8) He IS my favourite on Dollhouse (well, barring Victor and Sierra), but not an "all time" contender.
9) I'd recommend him, with reservations. Some people apparently cannot like psychopathic bodysnatching Evil Scientist characters.
10) I dunno, is he popular?

Tara
1) I LOVE, love, love, LOVE Tara. She's my second favourite character in the show. I love her strength, her kindness, her courage, her completely consistent morality. Every time she's on screen, things feel just a little bit less fucked up. (Until the, ah, finale.)
2) Tara's plot significance seems to be "bad things happen to her and this leads to further bad things happening", which really stirs my resentment.
3) I don't relate to her (I'm not that serene, her problems aren't mine and vice versa), but she really does have a huge emotional impact on me.
4) Buffy fandom is immense. I like the bits of it I've seen but wouldn't like to see more, honestly.
5) I really ship Tara and Faith, because their backgrounds are similar and their worldviews so radically different and it'd be a really twisty ship initially but could grow into looove. Out of Tara's canon relationships, her friendship with Buffy is my favourite, and I could very easily ship that too.
6) Nothing, apart from that horrible horrible what the hell were you smoking end of her storyline.
7) I am pretty certain I'd fall in love with her somewhat. Also, if Tara was in fandom, she'd be the one who makes beautiful icons but barely ever comments.
8) I think she is in my pantheon of all-time favourites.
9) I'd probably gush about her in advance.
10) Yes? Well, the bits of it I'm in anyway.
