Accidentally did a large bit of my panicky research paper and had a heady rush of "why, yes, I do rock" awareness, so, overall, it was a good day.
18. All of the pets I've ever owned.
Well, first there were turtles, called Lilly-O and Lally-O because I was 5 and a Tom Bombadil fan. They we moved to a house, and we got this AMAZING German Shepherd whom I called Rover, which is a very exotic dog-name here, who was clever and kind of reddish and tended to eat all the fruit off all our trees. He was a little bit frat-boyish, as far as dogs go, but I loved him passionately. After him, I had another dog, whose name was Pici, which is a very non-exotic dog-name here who was basically Byron, except in canine form, and he would sigh melancholically a lot and he was PROBABLY my daemon, or, like, my guardian animal or something, because he loved me very much and I loved him and basically he's... going to be in heaven, okay. And then, now, I have an iguana - well, a big fancy lizard, anyway - who is named Caesar ergo she is probably genderqueer and spiky and she's infinitely endearing for a cold-blooded spiky creature.
Oh, and my roommate got us a cat last month, who only stayed a week and was a dominatrix and had spots and we called her Tess which was short for The Indelicates, because she reminded us of them for some reason.
... in conclusion, I love animals. A lot.
